Precision Ignition by BANQIU

BANQIU SPARK PLUG: Engineered for Performance, Designed for Durability
BANQIU SPARK PLUG products are engineered with advanced materials and state-of-the-art manufacturing techniques-including isostatic pressing for ceramic components-to deliver superior ignition performance and longevity. Each spark plug is finished with a high-quality trivalent plating that provides excellent corrosion resistance against moisture and chemical exposure, while also acting as a release agent during removal. Our plugs are installed dry at the factory without the use of any anti-seize compound or lubricant. This is intentional: applying anti-seize can reduce friction and alter torque values by up to 20%, increasing the risk of thread damage or stretching of the metal shell. Such alterations can compromise the heat range and even lead to severe engine damage due to pre-ignition. Therefore, we strongly advise against the use of anti-seize on BANQIU SPARK PLUG products.

Another commonly misunderstood aspect is the appearance of a light brown discoloration on the ceramic surface above the metal shell-commonly known as a corona stain. This is a normal occurrence caused by high voltage attracting airborne oil or dirt particles to the exposed ceramic insulator. It should not be mistaken for combustion leakage or a defect.

Though most BANQIU SPARK PLUG models come pre-gapped, in certain cases minor adjustment may be needed. Extra care is required when handling fine-wire electrodes to prevent damage. We recommend using a round-wire or pin-style gap gauge and adjusting only the ground electrode, avoiding any force between the electrodes. Adjustments should not exceed ±0.008" from the factory-set gap.

Proper torque is also vital for optimal heat transfer and mechanical stability. Under-tightening can cause poor thermal conductivity and vibration damage, while over-tightening can lead to thread stripping, internal seal failure, or metal shell stretch-all of which may result in gas leaks or pre-ignition. Always adhere to the torque specs provided.

A final point of clarification: the term "copper spark plug" is often misused. While BANQIU SPARK PLUG does utilize a pure copper core in nearly all our models-including iridium and platinum series-the copper is not used as an electrode material due to its softness and low melting point. Instead, copper is employed within the core to enhance thermal conductivity and improve durability by dissipating heat more effectively. Our electrodes are crafted from high-durability nickel alloys, iridium, or platinum, ensuring long-lasting performance under demanding conditions. With proprietary materials, patented resistance powders, precision engineering, and rigorous quality control, BANQIU SPARK PLUG is your trusted ignition partner-delivering power, reliability, and peace of mind with every spark.
